"You are right, mortal. I do not wish to have their blood on my hands. I will let the others leave. I had only wanted to abide my loneliness a bit longer. In return for their freedom, however, I shall have you take their place. You shall be Bloody Bone's new desire."
You bite your lip, considering something, when he attacks.
It's a bloody battle, one that you almost lose had it not been for Sir Farrara taking the blow meant for you. But in the end, you had defeated the Fae man, while Sir Farrara lay dead a few feet away.
You sigh, still in the midst of your own ponderings. However, you should stop your procrastination on waking the immortal from his death.
"Ah, thank you Sir Sagrell. Now then, shall we be off? We must inform King Wencen of this strange change in this ballad."
"Yes. That would be a good plan. However, I would like to… I'd like to bury Bloody Bones' body before I go. You head off before me, this might take a bit of time."
"Oh? Ah, I'd forgotten mortals buried their dead. I'm not quite sure why you'd do that for a Fae like him, but if that's what you must, I won't stop you."
"Thank you." You smile tiredly at the Fae, watching as he ran off. He was a kind enough soul, but he only cared about you because of your supposed role. A role you had only acquired by happenstance, but were now forever bound to, it seemed.
You let slip a slight groan of pain, sitting in the grass. From your bag you grab a healing potion, sipping at the nasty beverage to ease your pain.
"You did quite the number on me, y'know that? Just like that spider woman. Are all Fae fights going to knock me on my ass like this?" You joke with the body next to you. No response, ofcourse.
